Asus may be jumping the gun a little since the GeForce GTS 250 isn't expected to be introduced until next week at CeBIT but we don't mind as we've got five fresh cards to write about. For its GeForce GTS 250 line-up Asus has went all out as every card makes use of its Dark Knight Fansink equipped with 4 heatpipes and a fan with a sound output of 32dB.
Also boasting EMI shields, the upcoming cards feature 128 Stream Processor-loaded 55nm G92b GPUs, 256-bit memory interfaces, DirectX 10, CUDA, SLI and SLI support, and dual-DVI connectivity.
The GTS 250 models prepared by Asus are the ENGTS250 DK/HTDI/512MD3, ENGTS250 DK TOP/HTDI/512MD3 and ENGTS250 DK/HTDI/1GD3, the first two coming actually coming in a couple of versions, as seen below, either with one or two 6-pin PCIe power connectors.
In terms of clocks, the 512MB DK/HTDI/512MD3 and 1GB DK/HTDI/1GD3 come with a 740 MHz GPU and 2200 MHz-clocked memory, while the 512MB TOP edition(s) go up to 775 MHz for the GPU and 2360 MHz for the on-board memory. Expect these cards to go on sale next month at prices under $200.
