Not 2.1 nor 5.1, these headsets go to 7.1

With 7.1 sound came the idea that you could control the vertical as well as the horizontal.

This was usually achieved with a setup that included not only an above average amount of speakers but also a knowledge of the space you were filling with sound and an obnoxious amount of money spent on a stereo system. Is it possibly true that you can reproduce the same feeling with an $85 pair of USB headphones? .

"Now that I have made it obvious why you need a headset let me introduce the one up for review. ROCCAT has had a lot of new products released for US purchase recently after being founded in Germany back in 2007.

One of its newest products available over at Newegg.com is the ROCCAT Kulo Virtual 7.1 Gaming Headset.

The key here is the "virtual" tag in the product name.

As it turns out, the 7.1 is a function of a stereo output rerouted through an included USB sound card.

Thus it is not true 7.1 quality but perhaps it is still a great headset.

Nokia unveils Monster-made Purity and Purity HD stereo headsets

The Purity HD measures 290 x 40 x 200 mm,

it weights 180 grams,

and features high performance speakers, in-line mic and control buttons,

a 1.3-meter cable,

and a 3.5mm jack.

As for the Purity, it also utilizes high-grade speakers, and boasts in-line volume and call controls, a 1.2m cable, and a 3.5-inch audio jack.

Both the Purity HD and Purity headsets are bundled with a carry pouch (the Purity also comes with five sets of ear buds), and are set to ship in four color versions - black, white, cyan and fuchsia. Unfortunately their price tags were not announced.

دوستان علی الظاهر پاناسونیک در نمایشگاه CES نمونه ای از یک هدفون وایرلس (بلوتوث) ارائه کرده برای کسانی که نمیخوان شبها موقع تماشای تلویزیون با هدفون مزاحم اطرافیانشون که خواب هستن بشن.
 
اسمش Bone Conduction Headphones هستش و این هدفون شبیه یک هدفون معمولیه، ولی هیچ اسپیکری نداره. بلکه این هدفون با فرستادن امواج به درون جمجمه شما، باعث شنوده شدن صدای تلویزیون میشه. یعنی برای شنیدن صدای تلویزیون به گوش خودتون نیازی ندارین.
 
خوب شاید بیشتر یه نوع سمعک باشه. ولی از این دید بهش نگاه کنیم که استفاده طولانی مدت از هدفون ها برای گوش مضر هستش. حالا با استفاده از این هدفون امواج مستقیما به مغز میرسه و دریافت میشه. بقیه هم متوجه نمیشن ما چی گوش میکنیم.
 
فکر کنم کیفیتش هم باید قابل قبول باشه، + قیمتش هم به همون اندازه بالا.

عجب! من پارسال ویدیویی از مجموعه کنفرانس های ted ( یه سری کنفرانس هست که بعضی از مخترعین و مبتکرین ، به معرفی جدید ترین دیتاورد های جالب انگیز ناک و کاربردی میپردازند) دیدم که فکر کنم واسه سال 2011 بود، که یه آقایی یه دستگاه ساخته بود که میتونست باهاش صدا رو فقط به سر یک فرد خاص برسونه، و کاری کنه بقیه نشنون، و یا افراد در یک بازه ی خاص بشنون، ایدشم از اینچا اومده بود که طرف دیده بود با هدایت نور و دستکاریش خیلی وسیله های جالبی ساختند، پس منم گفتم اگر با نور میشه، چرا با صوت نشه؟ و این دستگاهو اختراع کرد

حالا بعد از گذشت یه سال میبینم محصول تجاریش اومده!

KINGSTON UNVEILS HYPERX CLOUD HEADSET

 

We are used to seeing memory from Kingston Technology, but the latest company product is not such – the acclaimed memory maker has come up with a new headset this time that carries the popular HyperX brand name.

Speaking of it, the full brand name of the headset is HyperX Cloud and it is a really interesting high-end solution. Its central feature is its ear cushions that are made of memory foam and include a custom-stitched leather-padded headband for extreme comfort. A solid aluminum construction finishes the picture but there’s more – the HyperX Cloud comes with a dynamic closed 53 mm driver with a claimed frequency response of 15-25 000 Hz and a sound pressure level of 98 dB. Users also get a condenser microphone too and you can also use the HyperX Cloud as a simple pair of headphones. The headset specs finish with a 1m braided cable and a 2m extension which can be swapped for a bundled 10 cm iPhone connector.

Kingston appears serious when making headsets – the company has made efforts to see the HyperX Cloud become the official headset of Intel Extreme Masters, Alliance Gaming and other such organizations. Unfortunately the memory maker said nothing when it comes to the HyperX Cloud price and its availability.
